I had the most wonderful stay at The Blue Haven, the hotel staff was something special, they were amazing, so professional and friendly. The most welcoming Hotel. Loved the Staff, the food, the rooms & the stunning hotel itself.

Hotel location was fabulous, stunning views. Food, from breakfast to dinner including wedding meal was excellent. Staff were wonderful, friendly & customer service was high. Unfortunately the bedrooms need renovating. Our room was very dated, smell of mould & the bathroom required updating. I believe the hotel are doing up the rooms at present, we stayed 3 nights, a newly renovated room for that lenght of stay should of been provided. I didn't ask to change rooms & I should have. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay & I would return if ever back up in Donegal. Thank you to all staff.

What a Gem of a hotel...Brid and her team are completely dedicated to making each & every customer feel special...Brid leads her team from the front & is the heartbeat of the Blue Haven. The entire team were wonderful, friendly and welcoming...Princhy & Rebecca espically....thank you team Blue Haven for a wonderful weekend...We will see you again!

The hotel has been really nicely remodelled since our last visit, still ongoing but nothing intrusive at all and it helps make the very best of it's lovely location. Food and accomodation are great, the live music in the bar Friday and Saturday were excellent and great to see live local musicians. Standout is the staff- in all areas and jobs in the hotel, the staff are lovely - super-helpful and just excellent, they really make the Blue Haven a lovely, warm place to be - our first choice spot in South Donegal in future. Thanks for a lovely stay.

A beautiful welcoming hotel in a magical setting. Staff were super attentive and friendly. The rooms are amazing. Food was top class. A perfect location as a base to explore Donegal. I would definitely recommend the Blue Haven for a relaxing break in beautiful Donegal. Patsi

We were given a new room which was very modern. The bed was very comfortable. Customer service was excellent from front desk to bar/restaurant servers. Beautiful view in the morning. The hotel was not very full so we were surprised that we overlooked the big green C-can.

Gorgeous views, staff very friendly & professional. Beautiful decor throughout hotel. Our bedroom was comfortable. Breakfast was very slow to take our order and then had a long wait to get, beans were cold but overall food was good.

Lovely staff and beautiful location for eating. Very well-placed as a base for touring the local countryside and visiting the Sliabh Liag cliffs. I’m glad we stayed two nights and could have easily stayed another.

Every person I met working at the hotel was very friendly, hard working and nice.. A particular thanks to Kate for her above and beyond kindness. The room was perfect and the bed was comfortable. I was a solo traveller for this trip and I would recommend Blue Haven to anyone.

The staff were amazing..nothing was a problem..friendly and helpful. Breege gave us a very warm welcome and made sure we had an enjoyable time. The music was great and the food was very good. The location and sea view was stunning. I would highly recommend the Blue Haven for a relaxing holiday.

The front desk and manager were wonderful. We had a small issue and it was dealt with professionally and w complete focus on the customer. We will be back!

Staff friendly. Refurb looks lovely. Bedrooms need updating a lot. Rooms would benefit from water, iron, better quality towels. However, I'm sure next time we stay all of above will be implemented. Beautiful views and setting. Thank you x

Just had my second visit in 2 months. Apart from the beautiful location right on the coast less than 5 minutes from a magnificent beach the hotel itself was excellent thanks mainly to Brid and her team especially Rebecca and Laura at reception. The room I had was spacious and spotless and had all the amenities you could want with tea and coffee making facilities very comfortable bed super clean bathroom with bath and very powerful shower! Also great sea views from balcony of room. Very good food especially breakfast. Great value for money. I would highly recommend Blue Haven. I'll be back soon!
